Kagros is a large community that houses most of the Workers. Not a bustling metropolis like Arcadia, it serves as a home for the Workers and nothing else. Kagros is above-ground, placed strategically at the mouth of the Gorgon Mines.
GOVERNMENT
Very much a tight-knit community, the Workers operate under a democracy, electing leaders to make the laws that govern them. However, this has backfired when an official does not keep their promises, as the Workers do not take kindly to being made fools of, even by a member of their own race. Needless to say, Worker elections are very stressful.
TOURISM
Any type of tourist attractions in Morath end at the port, and the Workers dislike those not a part of the community to come snooping around their homes. They especially dislike those that come wanting a tour of the mine, as they consider that to be sacred ground.
RACE RELATIONS
The other races of Sanitas find the Workers coarse and blunt, not used to their hard-working "time is money" attitude. The Valere have tried building machines to mine Kyre Gems, but cannot unearth as many as the Workers can in a shorter time. Today, the Workers monopolize the Kyre Gem market, charging whatever they see fit to cover the cost of mining and labor, gouging prices from the other races. Race relations with the Workers are shaky at best. People across Sanitas know very well they need the Workers for the gems, but dislike their way of doing business.
RELIGION
The Workers overall do not worship the gods the way the other races do. Most Workers only believe in what they can see or what history tells them, instead “worshiping” the acts of their elders and ancestors rather than a deity proper. Some Workers suspect that there is a massive Kyre Gem that powers the planet, and someday this gem will exhaust itself and the planet will fall into ruin. Many of the doomsday prophets of Sanitas are Workers, but have since infected individuals of all races with this idea, although it is an unpopular one. Some doomsday prophets believe that the power of the massive Kyre Gem has already run out, and the disease is the first symptom of many, foretelling the end of time.
